How much space does the therapist need to carry out the treatment?

It depends on the treatment. Manicures and pedicures require less space: you simply need enough space to be able to sit down where our nail technician can easily access your hands and feet. For all other treatments, our therapist will bring a portable couch measuring 240cm by 120cm. They will need to be able to walk around the couch without bumping into anything. Some of our massage treatments (such as our unique Holistic Body Therapy) do not require a couch but are performed on a mat on the floor, making them ideal at-home treatments.

What do I need to provide?

You will need to have a quiet, warm room with no disturbances, plenty of drinking water, three large bath towels and a power point to plug a music player into. If you are unable to provide any of these, please let us know when you book your treatment and we will work around you.

How can I prepare for my treatment?

There is no need to prepare at all for nail services, waxing or eyelash tinting. If you are having a facial or body treatment, drink plenty of warm water before and after to help flush out the toxins that will be released and to facilitate the relaxation process. We recommend you also take a shower before your treatment to wash away the worries of the day so you are mentally ready to enjoy your experience. Avoid eating immediately prior to a facial or body treatment and do not drink any alcohol before hand.

Is there anything that would prevent me from having a treatment at home?

We only accept mobile bookings for clients over 18 years of age. Your therapist will conduct a full medical assessment before commencing your treatment. However, we do not carry out body treatments on women who are either menstruating or in the first trimester of pregnancy. If you are receiving medical treatment for an injury, illness or condition, please mention it at the time of booking and we will advise as to the suitability of your preferred treatment.

Mums no longer need to book a babysitter while stressed-out execs find they can now squeeze in some me time at the office during their lunch break and elderly and disabled customers can enjoy a service that mobility problems may have rendered unfeasible previously.

That is not all. Having a relaxing beauty treatment or massage at home also multiplies the feel-good effects. Clients feel more comfortable in their own surroundings, helping the de-stressing process to kick in more swiftly, while the fact that they don’t need to venture outside into the cold afterwards and can hop straight into bed means the body can truly capitalize on the restorative quality of the deep relaxation we offer.
